It was unseasonably warm evening Sunday for the Montgomery Christmas Tree Lighting and Festival of Trees event.
About 800 residents turned out for the event that featured the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus, free cookies and hot cocoa and songs performed by local school children.
This year's event also included for the second annual Festival of Trees. Local businesses decorated trees and will be judged by the public through Dec. 20 at Village Hall.
