New York Couture Wedding Gown Designer in Aurora

The gowns designed by Matthew Christopher have been featured on shows such as shows “Say Yes To The Dress” and “Randy To The Rescue."

If you're a fan of the shows “Say Yes To The Dress” and “Randy To The Rescue," you've likely heard of wedding gown designer Matthew Christopher.

Now local brides have their chance to see him and his designs in person.

Christopher will be at Wolsfelt’s Bridal in Aurora today and tomorrow, along with 40 of his brand new gowns, hot off the New York runway. Christopher is a good friend of the Wolsfelt’s who own and operate Wolsfelt’s Bridal, and though he is now a highly regarded fashion designer, he still comes in person for his trunk shows at Wolsfelt’s Bridal, 1025 S. Lincoln Ave.

The designer will personally work with brides to find them their wedding gown. Wolsfelt’s is still taking appointments to meet with the designer. The girls will also receive a 10 percent discount on the trunk show gowns.

Wolsfelt’s Bridal was established in 1974. Don and Donna Wolsfelt made their flourishing floral business into a full-service bridal salon. The salon itself boasts over 10,000 square feet of selling space and is situated on more than three acres of scenic property in Aurora. Over the years other bridal related services and businesses have been added to the property allowing for a complete "wedding day" experience.

The business is now owned and operated by their daughters Vicki and Dawn, both of whom have been involved in the business since the store's beginning. Most importantly, the Wolsfelt family is highly regarded in the bridal industry and Vicki and Dawn's knowledge, experience and service reputation far exceeds industry standards.
