Oswego’s Senior Center connects older adults with new friends, activities, meaningful work and volunteer opportunities, promotes better health, hope and dignity, and offers access to valuable benefits and resources. Many of the seniors who come to the center are widows and widowers and they find new friends and activities that help them to live a longer, productive, healthier life. If you enjoy socializing, and want to get out, come and be part of a great group of mature adults at the Oswego Senior Center.

Vote YES for Seniors The Seniors of Oswego Township need your support in the upcoming April 5th referendum. They are asking you to support a modest tax levy that would create a funding mechanism to continue the programs that are currently in place, but in jeopardy, and to enhance the future of all us who hope to grow old in Oswego. On a $100,000. house your annual cost would be $7.46 On a $200,000. house your annual cost would be $14.91 On a $300,000. house your annual cost would be $22.40

I was sad to see this referendum did not pass. But I also understood the argument that people felt over taxed already, and now that their tax bills came out in the last month, I don't see it getting passing if it every comes up again.
