Chamber Recognizes Long-Running Businesses at Annual Dinner

The Greater Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce held its 5th annual dinner last Thursday, and handed out plaques and certificates to more than two dozen businesses.

Last week, the Greater Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce held its fifth annual membership dinner, at which Chamber officials gave out numerous awards of recognition.

Chamber President Jennifer Jones-Sinnott presented plaques to retiring Chamber board members Lynn Schramer, of the Bank of Montgomery, and Matt Brolley, of Koziol Engineering Servces. Brolley resigned his position on the board when he was elected a village trustee last month.

Other retirees, who were unable to attend, include former Village Trustee Jeanne Felten of Old Second National Bank, Montgomery Fire Chief Tom Meyers, and Mark McGee of State Farm Insurance.

Certificares were also handed out to members based on the number of years they have been in business, ranging from one year to 140. Those businesses are:
