Open House for Health @ Leger Chiro

This weekend on September, 10th, 2011 from 1pm to 6pm the chiropractic wellness clinic, Leger Chiro - Health and Wellness located in Montgomery, Illinois will be hosting its first annual, “Open House for Health” celebration. This event can best be described as a blood drive, block party, and health fair all rolled into one amazing open house. Some of the outside activities include music, children’s activities (face painting and games), and a large charity raffle.

All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will be donated to a local area resident, for financial assistance with his medical bills.

Dennis Lowrey sustained a spinal cord injury that left him paralyzed from the chest down, last Memorial Day weekend. His mounting financial burden has left him and his fiancée Ericka, in an extremely difficult position. Since our office deals with spinal health on a daily basis, it was only fitting that we lend a hand to this young couple in hopes to alleviate some of the pressure of their struggles.

We invite our community to join us in our fundraising efforts. Not only can you come out and enjoy yourselves during the open house, but you will be helping a fellow community resident as well.

Don’t forget that the American Red Cross will be out assisting us with our blood drive. We currently have appointment positions to fill for blood donors, and we are counting on you to come out and support the cause of blood donation. Without the voluntary donations of the thousands of Americans that donate each year, there would be no blood units available for transfusions, and other medical necessities. All blood donors will receive a gift bag full of goodies!

Give Blood, Give Life!
