Banding Together - A Concert Event to Benefit the Meg Papadolias Foundation for the Vocal/Performing Arts

A concert to benefit the Meg Papadolias Endowment Fund, featuring The Kevin Trudo + Meathawk, HOSS, The Jimmy Kingsway Band, Printers Row, Acoustic Alternatives, and the 2012 West Aurora High School Battle of the Bands winner, Darling Youth.

In addition, many of Meg Papadolias' former students will join band members for cover songs.

The Meg Papadolias Endowment Fund was established in Meg's honor to commemorate her 30+ years of service in the West Aurora School District. Her influence on music and the performing arts in Aurora is immeasurable, and she has influenced the lives of thousands.

The fund, which has a current balance of approximately $2,000, needs to reach $10,000 to achieve "full endowment status." At which point, it can continue to grow and also have funds used as deemed appropriate to benefit programs in Distrcit 129 that promote the fine arts.

The mission of this concert event is to both create awareness of as well as raise funds and future commitments for the endowment.  It our financial goal to raise $8,000 for this event to provide the fully funded status.
