Send Us Your Mother's Day Stories

Do you have the best mom ever? We want to hear your story. Send us your memories and pictures, and we'll compile them into a Mother's Day feature for Sunday.

Hopefully this isn’t news to anyone reading this, but Sunday is Mother’s Day.

I’ll wait here while you furtively check your calendar. Yep, May 8. Mother’s Day. And now I’ll wait again while you head to the card store, pore through the tattered remnants, and select one fit for the woman who gave birth to you and raised you. No, not that one. That one’s tacky, put it back. Sheesh.

So yes, Mother’s Day is coming right up. If you couldn’t tell from the regular content we’ve rolled out over the past few months, especially our Moms Talk column, we’re big fans of mothers here at Patch. We’d go so far as to say they’re the cornerstone of society. Mothers are amazing, and we’re on board with celebrating them.

That’s why we’d like to hear your stories.

Over the next few days, we’ll collect the best stories about mothers and their sons and daughters, and we’ll present them as a feature on Sunday. If you have a special memory with your mom, write it down and send it to us. If you just want to say something to honor your mom on her day, send that to us too.

And if you have pictures of your mom, or of you and your mom, please send those along as well.

We’ll take stories and photos through 3 p.m. Saturday. Send them to Editor Andre Salles at andre.salles@patch.com. Let’s make this a Mother’s Day to remember.
