Montgomery Resident and Autobiographical Author to Present 'Writing Your Legacy Book'

The presentation is designed to encourage seniors to preserve their family's heritage.

 Joyce Herr, a Montgomery resident, local speaker and autobiographical author of The Love That Would Not Let Me Go, will be presenting Writing Your Legacy Book at the Montgomery Village Hall on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. 

The presentation will encourage seniors to preserve their family’s heritage, most important life experiences and values by recording them and then passing them on to their families and others.  There will be a drawing for free legacy books for members of the audience.

This program is offered by the Village of Montgomery as part of its Senior Citizen Program.  There is no charge and the event is handicapped accessible.  The Montgomery Village Hall is located at 200 N. River Street in Montgomery. 

The monthly Senior Lunch and activity for ages 55 and up will begin at 11:00 a.m. after the presentation.  There is a $4 charge for the lunch and pre-registration for lunch is required by September 3rd.  Bingo will be sponsored by Autumn Leaves.
