Montgomery AT&T Worker Receives President's Honor

About 200 Illinois AT&T employees received the President's Volunteer Service Award.

An AT&T employee in the company’s Montgomery office has been awarded a Silver President’s Volunteer Service Award.

Christopher Mikuta received the award after 100 hours of community service in 2012.

According to the company, about 200 employees in Illinois received the honor for their work in 2012.

About the President’s Volunteer Service Award

The President’s Volunteer Service Award is available on an annual basis and is an honor that every American – from all ages and all walks of life – can aspire to achieve. The President’s Volunteer Service Award is issued by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation, a group created by President George W. Bush, in 2003, to recognize the valuable contributions volunteers make in our nation.
