Why Go: Celebrate Children's Day! Draw a picture to add to the mural of "Our Favorite Books" and pick out a free book.

2. Spring at the Farm
Where/When: Dickson-Murst Farm, 2550 Dickson Rd, Montgomery; Sunday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Why Go: Nothing says spring like farm tractors, blue grass music, hands-on activities and a nice day on the farm.

3. Family Open Gym
Where/When: , 0 Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery; Friday, April 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.
Why Go: It's been rainy outside all week. Let off some steam with the gymnastics staff.
Price: $12 per family

4. El Dia de Los Ninos Festival
Where/When: Aurora Transportation Parking Lot on Spring Street and Lincoln Avenue, Aurora; Saturday, April 30 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Why Go: A day to celebrate children with stage performances by the students in both Districts 129 and 131, a magic show, the Wulin Dynasty Cheer, inflatables, face painting and more.

5. Spring Movie
Where/When: Kendall 10 in Oswego; Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1 at 9 and 10 a.m.
Why Go: Alpha and Omega is showing for free! If it's rainy, all the better.
