Get Out: Toys, Tenors and Fancy Hats

Our weekly look at the best places to go for weekend fun.

It's Thursday. The weekend is almost here, and you don't know what your plans are. Never fear, Patch is here. Welcome to Get Out, our weekly list of the best local weekend fun spots. Here's where we'd go this weekend (if we ever got a weekend off):

1. Molded Heroes Show
Where/When: 75 S. LaSalle St. in downtown Aurora; Saturday, April 9 from 6 to 10 p.m. and Sunday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 
Why Go: Glow worm, Mr. Potato Head, Skeletor and more cool plastic toys are captured by local and national artists for this art print show organized by a local Aurora artist.
Price: Free.

2. Spirit Song Drumming Circle
Where/When: Aurora Yoga Center, 514 Terry Ave., Aurora; Friday, April 8 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
Why Go: An evening of chant drumming is sure to unwind you.
Price: Donations welcome

3. Touch-A-Tractor
Where/When: Kane County Farm Bureau, Randall Road and Oak Street, St. Charles; Friday, April 8 from noon to 4 p.m.; Saturday, April 9 and Sunday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Why Go: Climb a combine and visit with local farmers.
Price: Free.

Where/When: Little White School Museum, Oswego; Saturday, April 9 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Why Go: See fancy headgear throughout the years. 
Price: Free.

Where/When: Aurora University, 1305 Kenilworth, Aurora; Friday, April 8 through Saturday, April 16. Check link for times.
Why Go: It's a Tony award-winning comedy. 
Price: Free.
