Five (More) Ways to Join In on Montgomery Patch

We like you. We want you to be part of the fun. Here are five more ways you can connect with us.

If you’ve been reading Montgomery Patch all week, you’ve seen a lot of lists. We gave you the top places to take your kids, the best deals for the family on a budget, the hottest things to do this weekend, and the most romantic restaurants for Valentine’s Day meals.

You’re probably all listed out, but just in case you’re not, we have one more for you. As much as we at Patch enjoy bringing you the news and features and columns you’ll see here every day, we want this to be an interactive experience for you. We want this to be a conversation, and we want you in on it.

So here are five ways you can join in on Patch. Of course, these aren’t the only five ways—you can always comment on any of our articles, ask a question in our Q&A section, or post your own events and announcements. But if you really want to be part of the action, here’s how:

1. Nominate a Whiz Kid. Our new weekly feature spotlights amazing kids who do amazing things. If you know one who lives in Montgomery, send editor Andre Salles an email at andre.salles@patch.com.

2. Join in on our Moms Talk debates. Every Wednesday at 1 p.m., our Moms Council will pose a question about parenthood. You don’t even need to be a mom to answer—dads can participate, and so can kids, and so can anyone with an opinion. Just log on and weigh in.

3. Play our contests. Yesterday we debuted two new contests, The Full Monty and Listening In. Both of these are fun ways for you to win some swell Patch swag, and they’re both free.

4. Tell us about houses on the market. Our new House Hunt feature highlights open houses and Montgomery homes for sale. If you’re trying to get people interested in your property, Patch can help. And if you’re a local realtor with listings in Montgomery, we’d be happy to include them. Email Andre Salles at andre.salles@patch.com.

5. Tell us how we’re doing. Drop us a line—Andre can be reached at 630-414-5670, or the aforementioned andre.salles@patch.com. And if you see him around town, come up and say hello. Feel free to tell us what you’d like to see here, what works and what doesn’t.

What we’re trying to say is this: we like you, and we want you around. So come on by, and come on back. And thank you.
