Adopt Me: Copper is Back at the Shelter Looking for a Home

This two-year-old Hound/Beagle mix was adopted from the Kendall County Animal Control Shelter, but returned shortly thereafter.

Copper is looking for a home. Again.

This adorable Hound/Beagle mix was abandoned, and found by the staff of the Kendall County Animal Control Shelter in Yorkville on Feb. 15. He's extremely friendly—if you come to the shelter, Copper's usually hanging out in the front office with Warden Christine Johnson.

Johnson's son took Copper in last week, but according to shelter staff, the arrangement didn't work out. ("He does have a loud bark, and the neighbors were complaining," said Tech Forrest Duvick.) So Copper's back at the shelter, looking for someone to take him home.
