2013 Montgomery Fest Recap
Check out all the fun that was had at Montgomery Fest this year.
The annual Montgomery Fest took place this weekend along the Fox River in downtown Montgomery. This year's festival included a parade, musical performances, carnival rides, food and craft vendors, battle of the bands, a petting zoo, pony rides, and much more.Â
Friday's events included a battle of the bands contest and an unlimited carnival ride special in the evening.Â
Saturday's festivities kicked off with a welcome from Village President Matt Brolley. Saturday's events also included a talent show, ice cream eating contest, fire department water fights, and a headlining performance by Evolution.Â
Sunday was packed full of activities. The fun started early with a family fishing derby at 6 a.m.  Then, there was a car and motorcycle show, a magic show, a parade through the downtown area, a kid's bike parade, BMX stunt shows, and more. The night ended with a fireworks display to cap off the festival.Â
