Preventing Cyber-Security Attacks to be March 26 topic


"Preventing Cyber-Security Attacks on Organizations,” a free educational seminar, will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 26, at the Aurora University banquet hall in Alumni Hall, 1410 Marseillaise Place in Aurora.

 

The public is invited. Admission, refreshments and parking are free.

Lori Grana, a cyber-liability specialist and a risk management consultant to commercial enterprises, will discuss the impact of cyber security threats to organizations from a human resource management perspective.

 

She will detail cyber HR-related preventative measures and cyber liability insurance programs, how they function and how they can save organizations significant time and financial resources.

 

Grana is agency principal and a Certified Insurance Counselor with Insurance Benefits Resource Group in Algonquin.

 

Seminar co-sponsors are the university's Dunham School of Business and Gallagher Benefit Services of Naperville.
