Girl Scouts of Northern Illinois (GSNI) offers a variety of summer camp sessions, including day and overnight camp, at Camp Dean in Big Rock, Illinois. Camp Dean is open to all girls—not just Girl Scouts—in grades 1–12. Since girls select their own experiences in Girl Scouts, they can choose to limit their participation to camp enjoyment! Come to camp for the adventure—stay for the food! Grab a whisk and mixing bowls; this session is going to be delicious! In addition to swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, try new campfire recipes and develop skills as an outdoor chef.

 

Camp Dean Day Camp

July 14–18/9 a.m.–3 p.m. (daily)/Grades 1–5/$125 per girl

Not ready for overnight camp? Camp Dean Day Camp offers traditional camp adventures during the day. An optional overnight on Thursday is available for an additional $15.

 

Da Vinci Girls

July 30–August 1/Grades 1–3 /$150 per girl

This camp is for art fanatics! Get hands-on with scissors, glue, and beads. Create a masterpiece to bring home, and enjoy exciting camp activities, too!
