 ox Valley Habitat for Humanity will hold an&nbsp\; orientation and appli
 cation-distribution meeting&nbsp\;for prospective homeowners at 10 a.m. 
 Saturday\, July 21\, at Genesis Community Church\, 1300 S. Broadway in M
 ontgomery.\nSpanish-language translation will be provided. The public is
  invited. Meeting attendance is requred to receive an application.Rev. J
 effrey Barrett\, Fox Valley Habitat executive director and Genesis churc
 h pastor\, will preside. He will be assisted by Ron Kelso\, Habitat vice
  president\; and Samantha Krilich\, chair of the Family Selection Commit
 tee. A current Habitat homeowner is also expected to attend.Rev. Barrett
  said\, "At these meetings\, future homeowners will hear about Fox Valle
 y Habitat for Humanity and its&rsquo\;mission of Home Ownership for God&
 rsquo\;s people in need."  He said Habitat's program is open to area res
 idents unable to obtain adequate housing through conventional means.  Ap
 plicants must have a steady low- to medium income\, be able to pay a no-
 interest mortgage and to give 350 to 500 hours of sweat equity--voluntee
 r work--on their or other Habitat homes.  To qualify for consideration\,
  applicants must complete an application under deadlines\; provide suppl
 emental documentation as required\; complete 10 Hours of sweat equity be
 fore selection\; be interviewed by the Family Selection Committee\; and 
 be approved by the Fox Valley Habitat board of directors.   According to
  Rev. Barrett\, approved applicants receive home ownership through rehab
  or new construction\; a no-interest mortgage\; payments tailored to abi
 lity to pay\;&nbsp\; stable home environment\; building of financial equ
