Aurora University, Schingoethe Museum presents, featured work by Artist-in-Residence Bunky Echo-Hawk.

His work has been exhibited throughout the country, including the Peabody Museum at Harvard University, The Colorado History Museum, University of California, Irvine, and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Democracy is viewed from an indigenous perspective in Bunky’s Bullets in the Chest, Arrows in the Back exhibit, which reflects his view of what is done to and by Native Americans to profoundly affect their lives.

“It is my goal to truly exemplify the current state of Native America.” – Bunky Echo-Hawk

The exhibit will be on display February 18-April 26, 2013.
