Welcome to Montgomery Patch: The Video
Editor Andre Salles and local musician Kevin Trudo give you a quick tour of Montgomery, in word and song.
The welcome video is a tradition here at Patch.
Scratch that, it’s a requirement. But it’s meant to be part of a site’s launch, and mine, well, mine just wasn’t ready. It was a matter of scheduling, and of having only a couple of weeks to get ready for launch, but also, I wanted to make sure I could do something interesting. Well, interesting to me, at least.
So I got a little extra time, and I got together with my friend Kevin Trudo, musician extraordinaire. And this is the goofy thing we came up with. We filmed this around town last Monday, in the bitter cold and freezing rain, and we can’t thank our StudioNow videographer and editor Diana Gurley enough for running with this, and shooting it under ridiculous conditions.
I know many of you have been waiting for this for a while. I hope it was worth it. And now, about three weeks late, I finally get to say this: welcome to Montgomery Patch.
