I'd need to know a bit more before making my choice. For example, what are the property taxes? What restrictions does the subdivision have (could I build a shed, have an above-ground pool, etc.)?

That one on Mead Circle would go for a good $ 250k- $ 275k here in the Phoenix suburb of Gilbert. Our recovery is one of the best in the country....in the top ten if I remember correctly. Not sure why. Our elected officials are every bit as crooked as yours are in the Chicago area.

Rick what would the taxes be on something like this in Phoenix? before the market dropped here I can bet these 2 home went for over $300,000.00. I'd say the taxes on these 2 are ranging from $8000.00. and up.

Taxes here are very low. I have an 1800 sq ft home in one of the finest communities in the valley & I pay about $ 1350 / year. Yes. per year. And we have some of the finest public schools in the country.

Rick thanks for the reply back! I fell out of my seat and it took sometime to recover, $1350 a year nice for you. I've been trying to sell here and it's my taxes that's killing any chance I have of selling. When it cost more for the taxes each month then it does for the principle and interest it doesn't make for a good sale.
Sounds like things are good well for you, congrats! No snow and cold can't beat that!

Hi Walt-
It takes a while to get used to the 118* heat in July & August & after 18 years here, a day when the high is 60* in the winter makes me have to wear long pants & a sweatshirt. I spent more than 25 years in the Oswego area & was quite glad to be rid of the snow!! :)
