Last Tuesday there was plenty of excitement when Oswego 308 called a snow day on account of the over 8 inches of snow Oswego received throughout the day.

Howver, the snow day has extended the 2012-13 school year by one day.

What does that mean for your child? Oswego 308 explains:

• Third quarter: now ended on Monday, March 11. Third quarter report cards will go live on Tuesday, March 19 at 4 p.m.

• Preschool and Kindergartners: Last day of school will be Thursday, May 30.

• Grades 1-8: Last day of school will be Friday, May 31 (May 30 will be a full day of classes for students, with May 31 following an early dismissal schedule).
• High School: Final Exams will be held May 28 (periods 4, 3 & 5); May 29 (periods 6, 2 & 7) & May 30 (periods 1 & 8).
