The family of Paul R. Dumdie is still waiting for the Montgomery VFW to honor vetern of WWII Paul Dumdie who passed away on August 1, 2012. The VFW refused to present a flag and honors at his funeral service because they said "the Montgomery Fest is going on". We had to obtain a flag ourselves thru the Cremation Society. To this day, they still have not mentioned him in any of their newsletters. It has been 5 months now. Why is our father not a important vetern? He fought for our country too! It is sad and very hurtful to us that this organization, which Paul Dumdie was a memeber, can not be honored or mentioned.
