Several File Petitions to Run in April Election

There are open seats on the Montgomery Village Board, as well as the District 129, District 308 and Kaneland school boards.

 

Montgomery voters will have a bevy of candidates to choose from when they go to the polls in April.

Montgomery Village Board

There are several openings on the Village Board, including the seats of trustees Denny Lee, Andy Kaczmarek and William C. Keck, Jr. Also open are the positions of village president and village clerk. All are four-year terms.

Those who have filed to run for the village president seat are:

  • William C. Keck, Jr.
  • Matthew T. Brolley
  • Thomas J. Campbell

Those who have filed to run for the expired trustee seats are:

  • Steve R. Jungermann
  • Theresa Sperling
  • Denny Lee
  • Colleen C. Nedrow
  • Ben A. Brzoska
  • Joshua A. Salisbury
  • Gregory W. Nelson
  • Andy R. Kaczmarek, Jr.

Running for village clerk is:

  • Heidi A. Dziedzic

District 308

The District 308 School Board has open three seats for four-year terms (one seat must be filled from an unincorporated area).

Those who are running include:

  • Danielle Paul
  • Eva Renee Powers
  • Michael G. McDowell
  • Matthew Bauman
  • Gregory G. O'Neil
  • Bradley Schulz
  • Jill Ko

District 129

    There are three seats up in West Aurora School District 129 , including School Board President Neal Ormond, Mark Bradford and Jonathan Wood.

    Those who have filed to run for the four-year terms are:

    • William Passalaqua
    • Neal Ormond
    • Valerie Brown Dykstra
    • Jonathan Wood
    • George Dyche
    • Mark Bradford
    • Robert Patterson

    Kaneland School District

    Kaneland School District has three seats up for grabs in April, including those of Cheryl Krauspe, Kenneth Carter, and Elmer Gramley.

    Those who have filed to run for those four-year terms are:

    • Cheryl Krauspe
    • Pedro Rivas

    Andy Kaczmarek has asked the hard questions and s always voted to keep taxes and village costs down ... He will have my vote !!

    Linda, I have to agree with you that Andy asks the hard questions. I also will ask tough questions on behalf of all Montgomery residents. Andy did vote against the last tax hike but the vote still lost because three other Trustees and the Village President voted in favor of a tax hike. We need another Trustee that stands up for the people they represent. I'm hoping to have your vote also. Ben A Brzoska III
