Police Blotter: Man Nets DUI, Obstructing Identification Charges
Police said Christopher Osei Poku gave the wrong name to police officers.
Christopher Osei Poku, 36, of the 1800 block of Asbury Circle, Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 6:44 a.m. Jan. 1 at Douglas and Montgomery roads, Montgomery police said.
Reports state he was initially stopped for following too closely.
Osei Poku was also given a complaint for obstructing identification after he gave the wrong name to police officers, police said.
