Police Blotter: Drunken Driving, Theft and an Illegal House Party

A look at recent police reports provided by the Montgomery Police Department.

 

Sunday, Feb. 5

Drunken driving on Super Bowl Sunday, part one

Kenneth Webb, 60, of the 1800 block of Bromley Court in Schaumburg, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 2 a.m. on Orchard Road and Brentwood Drive, Montgomery police said. Webb was initially stopped for improper lane usage, police said.

Drunken driving on Super Bowl Sunday, part two

Erica Johnson, 39, of the 1100 block of Lincoln Avenue in Montgomery, was charged with drunken driving after allegedly striking a mailbox at 11:30 p.m. on Hartway Drive at Lincoln Avenue and driving away from the scene, Montgomery police said. Johnson was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident. 

Saturday, Feb. 4

Stealing away, part one

Two juvenile women were charged with retail theft after employees of a store in the 1900 block of South Douglas Road saw them conceal merchandise and leave without paying at around 3:35 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Stealing away, part two

Christian Nelson, 18, of Crest Hill, was charged with retail theft after he allegedly concealed merchandise and left a store in the 2000 block of Orchard Road without paying at around 6:15 p.m., Montgomery police said.

Friday, Feb. 3

(Illegal) House Party

Eduardo Duran, 18, of the 300 block of Morgan Valley Drive in Oswego, was charged with criminal trespass to a residence after police responded at 9:20 p.m. to reports of an unauthorized party at a vacant home in foreclosure in the 1700 block of Wick Way in Montgomery, police said. According to police, Duran admitted to organizing the party, and to entering the locked house through a basement window.

Like always our VOM Police on top of things. Maybe VOM needs to go help Naperville, 6000+ Calls in downtown in a year.....wow Naperville has one huge problem!

Yeah, but Naperville is ALOT bigger than Montgomery with ALOT more to do. Big difference.
