Photo: Village President Honored for 30 Years in Public Service

Well-wishers packed Village Hall earlier this week.

Retiring Montgomery Village President Marilyn Michelini was honored with a reception at Village Hall Monday night. 

Michelini is not seeking re-election in Tuesday's election. She was first appointed to the Montgomery Village Board in 1982, according to the village's website. In 1987 she was elected to her first seat on the board, and served there until 1991 when she won her first term as village president. She has held that office ever since.

  • Kane County Impact Fee Committee (alternate)
