Hot Dog Heist
A Joliet man stole a hot dog from a west side gas station but fell down when the cops were chasing him and didn't get to eat it, police said. The alleged frankfurter filcher, 20-year-old Sean Busse of 118 Emery St., grabbed a hot dog from the Thornton's at 2798 W. Jefferson Street about 2:30 a.m. June 28, police said. Busse made a run for it but fell down, police said. He got back up and gave getting away another shot but was reportedly caught before he got too far. Busse was cited for theft.
Several paintings, a gun, several pictures and a suit of armor were stolen from a home on the 500 block of Forest Way, Bolingbrook between June 3 and June 18, Bolingbrook police said.
A resident in the 100 block of Croydon Court, Oswego, reported damage to a moon jump located at the home sometime before 3:35 p.m. June 27, according to an Oswego police report. Damage was estimated at about $500.
Off With Their Heads
Concrete lawn statues were tipped over and beheaded sometime before June 29 in the 1600 block of Swallow Street, Naperville, Naperville police said.
Couldn't Hold It at Last Call
Erin M. Reilly, 21, of the 22000 block of Princeton Circle in Frankfort, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. June 30 in the 0-99 block of West Chicago Avenue, Naperville, police said. She was charged with fighting after punching a bartender while urinating in the doorway, police said. Her bond was $120.
Zachary McClernon, 18, of the 2500 block of Quail Court, Aurora, was charged with unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol after he was caught climbing over a fence to sneak into Raging Waves water park about 1:35 p.m., June 18, Yorkville police said.
