To be fair, we don't know what's going on here. I've never met the young man, but we all know how dramatic teenagers can be. Completely innocent scenarios could be used to support a claim, and maybe this young lady took advantage of that.
It's entirely possible that Mr. Freeman is a victim of circumstance.
Now, I opened by saying "To be fair," so I'll finish by saying it's also entirely possible that this guy is a "dirt bag," as Jennifer s has stated above. It is disturbing to think of a "youth leader," at a church where I've attended services, maybe taking advantage of his circumstances.
In any case, a lot of innocent children will be asked a lot of difficult questions and the truth will eventually come out. In any case, this is obviously a difficult time for whoever the young person is and I hope that individual is going to be alright. If Mr. Freeman turns out to be a bad guy, I hope the young person realizes that these events were not their fault.

Great. Time to google how closed this (alleged) Boulder Hill pervert lives to the elementary school and Thompson Jr. High.

The Freemans are a wonderful family and active in our community. Kevin has not been found guilty of any crime and he and his family deserve the prayers and support of the community along with others who may be affected by this case. I think everyone can agree that if your family member were accused of a crime you'd want to be treated fairly and have your side of the story heard without judgement from people who don't know the facts before making public declarations about a person's character.

I agree. The Freemans are a wonderful family and I do believe there is something somewhere that says INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY! Prayers to all.

What if, What if. Prey on that scenario. I went to highschool with this guy (same graduating year) and he was nothing but a real nice kid. Never gave me the creeps of any sort. You have no idead how shocked i was to see this just now. He has not been found guilty of ANYTHING so why don't you back off? This is how the salem witch trials progressed so quickly. Hell, you don't even have ANY information on the scenario or what happened. I am not defending this man because we are best friends or even talk AT ALL. I am speaking from my experience with him almost ten years ago in school and common sense. Did you see "found guilty of" or "plead guilty to" anywhere.

'This family creeps me out.' is an ignorant statement to make. You're judging an entire family based on a 3 paragraph article that only lists details of an arrest of one of its members. No one should judge either side of this case without knowing facts. No one asks you to personally support Kevin, but you certainly should't make hurtful statements towards a family who is surely already in pain. What if he was your son??? Your brother???

It is beyond rude to make a comment like "this family creeps me out". You have every right to think that Kevin is a terrible man, but to voice that on a public sight is just cruel. His family is already in pain over the situation, and I'm sure even they don't know the entire story, and you making a comment like that pisses me off. Do you think they wanted this to happen? Do you think they want to see their son or brother in jail? No. Same to the alleged victims and their families. They don't wanna be in this situation either. And by the way... I am a youth member at the church where he helped out and knew him quite well. So from my point of view, he was never a pervert nor did he act creepy. So unless you actually know him, please keep comments like "this family creeps me out" or "he gives me the creeps" to yourself. They are rude, inconsiderate, and offensive to the people, like myself, who know him.
