Letter to the Editor: Fox Valley Animal Welfare League Thankful to Supporters

The Fox Valley Animal Welfare League Declared Rummage Sale a Success.

The Fox Valley Animal Welfare League would like to thank the volunteers, donors and buyers for making the rummage sale a success.

The list of those who helped is long but we feel blessed to have  received wonderful items, beautiful jewelry and delicious baked goods.  The volunteers did a wonderful job sorting, setting up and selling the items.  The buyers were generous and fun to meet.

The Montgomery Patch was truly wonderful with their many articles about the League.  A special thank you to the Montgomery Police Department, especially the Chief and Kathy Priegl, for allowing us to use their parking lot to collect donations.  Also to the Boulder Hill School staff who made us feel welcome and made our set up a breeze.  Finally a warm thank you to the FVAWL Board of Directors and Clinic Director, Rich Glessner for all their support.

The proceeds will be used to spay/neuter those animals in need.  The League will continue to collect jewelry throughout the year to be sold at various events that support the Prevent a Litter spay/neuter fund.  For more information contact kaye@fvawl.org.

Board Member FVAWL
