Kendall County DUI Arrests: Dec. 15
A look at recent driving under the influence charges around Kendall County.
Dec. 1 Yorkville police charged an Aurora man with DUI after stopping him for speeding, according to police. Daniel H. Cabrera, 26, was observed allegedly speeding along Route 71. He was pulled and police subsequently charged him with DUI.
Dec. 10 Denard Y. Miller, 40, of the 100 block of Gregory Street, Aurora, was arrested at 2 a.m. at Route 34 and Prairie Market, Oswego and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to reduce speed for crash, said Oswego police. Miller was also cited for the possession of open containers of alcohol in the vehicle and for driving on a suspended license.
Dec. 8 Amy Sue Unger, 50, of the 3000 block of Winchester Court, Aurora, was arrested at 11:28 p.m. at Route 34 and Orchard Road, Oswego, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
Dec. 7 Nicholas Alexander Allen Girup, 28, of the 1300 block of Light Road, Oswego, was arrested at 5:39 a.m. at Dolores Road and Laurie Lane, Oswego, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and the possession of cannabis, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Dec. 1 Tyler J. Lorang, 21, of the 300 block of East Benton Street, was arrested at 2 a.m. in the 400 block of Arboretum Way, Oswego and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, said Oswego police. He was also charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and for not having a valid driver’s license on hand.
Dec. 9 Roquelin Flores, 30, of the 900 block of West New York Street, Aurora was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police stopped him for speeding at 2:05 a.m. Dec. 9 at routes 30 and 31, Montgomery police said. Reports state Flores was also charged with driving with a revoked license.
