Charges Filed in Boulder Hill Shooting
Shooting occurred in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East in March 2011.
An Aurora man has been charged in a March 2011 shooting in Boulder Hill.
Rael Roy Gonzalez, 24, of the 2000 block of Nann Street, has been charged with three counts of aggravated discharge of a firearm in the March 2 incident in the 0 to 100 block of Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
Gonzalez drove by the home at about 1:30 p.m. that day, got out of his car and fired three shots from a handgun at people standing outside the home, the sheriff’s office said. Gonzalez then drove off, the sheriff’s office said. The bullets struck the home, a car and a neighbor’s tree. No one was injured in the incident.
A warrant was issued for Gonzalez’s arrest June 26, and he was later picked up by Aurora police.
Residents nearby the scene said the block is usually a quiet area with no known drug or gang activity.
Gonzalez is being held in the Kendall County Jail on $250,000 bond.

There is nothing NEW here on Boulder Hill. We have had drive by shootings on Fernwood over the years and a shoot out in a childrens park with pool not fare away.

Could you do us all a public service and let us know when this dirt bag posts bail? Some of the law abiding residents in that neighborhood would like to give him a ride...just to make sure he's safe. Maybe explain the error of his ways to him. Give him a safety briefing. Accidents do happen, you know...especially to gangbangers that fires weapons in a neighborhood filled with children....

I am on the vine to let me know when he gets out. well he can come and visit Justina's grandmother and I will show him what beating up a young girl is all about.
