Welcome back to Adopt Me. Once a week, we’ll spotlight a dog or a cat looking for a new home.

This week, we want you to meet Fenway. He’s seven years old, he’s a domestic shorthair, and he’s been at the Kendall County Animal Control shelter since April 28. Fenway is, of course, named after the famous Boston ballpark that serves as home to the Red Sox, but he’s so friendly he won’t even care if you’re a Yankees fan.

Fenway is declawed on all four paws. He’s a very mellow cat, and loves to be petted and scratched. If you’d like information on adopting Fenway, or any other animal at the shelter, call Kendall County Animal Control at 630-553-9256.
