40 Montgomery Runners Compete in Chicago Marathon
About 40 people from Montgomery ran in the Chicago Marathon Sunday. Montgomery's best finisher was 6855th overall.

About 45,000 runners from every U.S. state and 115 countries participated in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon Sunday.
Ethiopian Tsegaye Kebede had the top finish in the marathon at 2:04:38, breaking the course record set last year by Kenya's Moses Mosop, according to the Chicago Tribune.
There were 40 registered runners from Montgomery; 27 runners finished the race. Montgomery's top finisher, Bill Hurst, took 6855th place overall with a time of 3:43:14
