Ten YMCA Aqua Force Swimmers Qualify for State Meet

Ten members of the Fox Valley Family YMCA Aqua Force Swim Team, including three from Montgomery, have qualified to compete in the upcoming state meet.
Brodie Mikuta qualified in the 100-yard butterfly and the 100-yard breast stroke, and Skylar Ruggles qualified in the 25-yard backstroke. Two freestyle relay teams qualified as well: the 8-and-under team of Ythan Houston, Ethan Castilla, Matthew Harris and Ahmed Kasim, and the 15-and-over team of Michael Ebinger, Tim Durning, Nick Snopek and James Iglesias.
Houston, Harris and Ebinger are all from Montgomery.
The qualifying swimmers will compete in the state meet at the Kishwaukee YMCA in Sycamore on March 17 and 18.
