Sandy Hook Elementary School Fundraiser

Andrew Ernest, a senior at OEHS, along with a few teachers have set up a fundraiser for the victims families of the tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook.

There will be a collection box placed in the main office at OEHS during school hours for those wishing to drop off a monetary donation. There will also be donation boxes at the varsity boys home basketball games at each entrance.

On the last day of the fundraiser, Jan 29th, at the varsity boys basketball game against Plainfield North, we are asking ALL fans in attendance to wear green and white, the school colors of Sandy Hook. There will be extra things planned at  the game to raise money for ALL the affected families of this horrific tragedy and all info will be updated on here as they become finalized.

As mentioned this fundraiser is going on until Jan 29th.  We have had success so far but we are hoping for a HUGE success. We want to show ALL the families they are NOT forgotten and we are here to help in any way that we can, as most cannot imagine the pain they have/are experiencing.

Once the fundraiser ends Jan 29th, Andrew along with his mom plan to fly out to CT to deliver ALL the funds we have collected. We appreciate any and all donations. Thank you in advance for making this a success.

Well done Andrew! If you guys are going to do a raffle at the January 29th bball game, we would be happy to donate a $100 gift certificate to be raffled. If that's something you'd be interested in, please shoot me an email at Chris@Ink180.com

Thanks and God Bless,
Chris

Great job, Andrew (and his parents who raised him to know he could help make a difference!)!!! And kudos to OE and Plainfield North teachers, administrators and coaches coming together to fundraise for such a good cause!
