Jamie L. Belongia was hired as the new Assistant to the Village Manager. Her duties will be to provide assistance for daily village operations, handles special projects, works closely with department heads and prepares and presents reports to the village manager and village board.

The position also involves human resources coordination, budget preparation, long-term planning, collective bargaining, contract management, and participation in various boards, committees and organizations.

According to a press release from the village, Belongia was an International City/County Management Association Local Government Management Fellow in Howard, Wisconsin. She served as the liaison to the organization's environmental committee and provided direct staff assistance to the Village Board and other various boards and commissions.
