Used household batteries can be dropped off at the village of Mongomery (200 N. River Street) or the police department (10 Civic Center Avenue) for recycling.
Those accepted include: AA, AAA, C, D, 9-volt, button, camera and cell phone batteries, and other types of household batteries. Vehicle batteries are not be accepted.
